Standing Seam Roof (SSR) - THE Ultimate in Roofing Solution
Supertech
India (Pvt) Limited
is a pioneer in steel building technology. It introduced
state-of-the-art Standing Seam Roof (SSR) in India
using a mobile roll for former that can be taken to
the jobsite. The SSR roof system has the unique advantage
of "floating" over the structure to compensate
for thermal effects. It has no exposed fasteners or
perforations in the panels which ensure extended service
life.

UNIQUE FEATURES
A) Temperature Change - No Problem
|
A Unique feature
of Supertech SSR - Standing Seam Roof is its ability
to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction. The
Supertech SSR features a unique concealed clip which
has two distinct parts, the lower fixed part is fastened
to the structure (purlin) and the upper movable part
attached to the specially designed roofing panels. The
panels and the top part of the conealed clip are crimped
together either by mechanical seaming or specially designed
mechanical locking. This ingenious fixing arrangement
which allows for the roof top to practically "float"
over the structure without being affected by temperature

Structural Standing Seam Roof Sstem
|
The Supertech SS
-2000 and SL- 1750 seam roof systems blend the aesthetics
of an architectural panel with the strength of a structural
panel. These Panels are designed to withstand high wind
uplift ratings assuring reliability and assurance. |
|
| Supertech SSR - SL-1750 |
| is a snap-together system that was designed
for transitions from roof to fascia for a continuous, uninterrupted appearance. |
|

|

|
| Supertech SSR - SS-2000 |
| is a field seamed system that combines a slim
rib with exceptional uplift resistance. This panel has been designed to withstand the most
rigorous conditions. |
|
|
|
|
Each of these systems
feature optional factory installed hot-melt mastic for
low slope applications to ensure weather tight seams.
Ribs are provided for added aesthetics value and strength. |
 |
|
|
A variety of watertight
seam designs is available, including single - lock,
double - lock, single crimp and capped. Some seams snap
together, others are mechanically seamed during installation.
